National Projects and Initiatives

We'd like to give you details of some other national projects and initiatives that are concerned with the arts and creativity.  5x5x5 = Creativity is a project which takes inspiration from Reggio Emilia in Italy.  The project has been working in local authorities across the West of England for a number of years and interest in the project continues to grow. 

Creative Parterships is a nationwide scheme which has been running since 2004 in specific areas of the country.  Funding will conclude in March 2008 but there are exciting plans to develop the work of Creative Partnerships beyond 2008.

Every year, we read about celebrations and remembrance events and activities many of which develop activities and programmes targeted at schools and groups and often include resource and support packs for teachers and educators.  We've tried to list some of the regular days, weeks and months that recur every year as well as the one-off year long programmes such as Brunel 200, Abolition 200, Darwin 200.
